Cross Stitched Teacup

Today I'm sharing another card featuring a cross stitch design.  I actually completed this card back in August, but never got it posted! To view my first cross stitch card and step by step instructions for creating these, visit THIS POST.

After I finished cross stitching, I matted my piece on a scallop circle cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities. The background is embossed with the Roses folder (Sizzix-Tim Holtz) inked with Tattered Rose/Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide (Ranger).  I added two die cuts to the corners with Romantic Vines Dies (Spellbinders).

Esther, this is stunning. Whoever receives this card will certainly feel special. I used to cross stitch years ago. ~ Abby

Oh how I adore this card! I love the cross-stitching. I've been creating some bookmarks with the My Favorite Things cross-stitch bookmarks die and find it so relaxing. You displayed your cross-stitch design very nicely on the card as well! Thanks for taking the Time Out to play with us!

Beautiful, I love how you framed it and the rose embossing folder in the background is perfect with it!
I bought a cross-stitch die but haven't tried it yet :( You have got me thinking I need to break it out!

This is most certainly a beautiful work of art, surely a gift in itself. Thanks so much for joining us at Little Red Wagon Challenge!
