Watercolor Salt Backgrounds Take #2

Remember the Watercolor Salt Background I shared back in February? Well here two more cards created using that same technique ....for a full tutorial visit this post on Betsy's Veldman's blog. This time I went with a sunset look and used dies to create silhouettes!

Supplies and Tools:
  • Canson Watercolor Paper
  • Sonnet Watercolor Paints
  • Salt
  • Food Coloring
  • Star Stencil (Firefly)
  • Brilliance Moonlight White Ink (Tsukineko)
  • White Gel Pen
  • Tree Line Die (Sizzix - Tim Holtz)
  • Camp Out Cricut Cartridge
  • Distress Oxide (Ranger) in these colors:
    • Squeezed Lemonade
    • Wild Honey
    • Faded Jeans
    • Black Soot

My second card features a sentiment stamp I picked up at Hobby Lobby a few years ago. I really should use it more often!

Supplies and tools:
  • Canson Watercolor Paper
  • Sonnet Watercolor Paints
  • Salt
  • Food Coloring
  • Sentiment from American Art Stamp
  • Black Soot Distress Oxide (Ranger)
  • Rolling Landscape (Crafter's Companion)
  • White Gel Pen
