Let's Do It Again

The current challenge over on the Funkie Junkie Blog is "Let's do it again" ---- in other words re-do one of your old projects with a twist.  (Click here to see the card I'm re-doing.)

For my second go-round I went with earth tones and created some fun DIY rolled roses with a circle punch and quilling tool.

Supplies and Tools:

  • Gilded Birds Die Set (Memory Box)
  • Meadowbird Branch Die Set (Memory Box)
  • Frond Punch (Martha Stewart)
  • Victoria Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug)
  • Bitty Regards (Unity Stamp Company)
  • Mini Pearls
  • Burlap String
  • Distress Oxide (Ranger) in these colors:
    • Walnut Stain
    • Black Soot

This is absolutely beautiful. Love the embossing as it suits the over-all design. Thank you for blessing us with your entry to our challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with God's Word in 1 John 3:1 that says, "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him." Have a blessing filled day.

Esther, you have done it again! You always wow me with your cards and this one is so creative and gorgeous! Love the bird theme and those rolled roses are stunning! Do you have a tutorial for making those? Such an incredible re-make (your first one is lovely, too, but I have a thing for neutrals!). I'm so happy you played along in our Let's Do It Again challenge at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog! Hugs!
