I'm sharing three cards with you today. This first one features the brand new "Springtime" stamp set in one of my favorite color combos -- blue and yellow!

Supplies and tools:
  • Springtime (Sweet n Sassy Stamps)
  • Texture Tiles 1 (Sweet n Sassy Stamps)
  • Canson Mixed Media Paper
  • Sonnet Water Colours
  • Prismacolor Pencils
  • Art Edges Dies (Cutplorations)
  • Trendy Spring Blooms Dies (Cutplorations)
  • These colors of Distress Oxide (Ranger)
    • Faded Jeans
    • Fossilized Amber
    • Squeezed Lemonade

I went with a shabby chic design for this card. The dragonflies were stamped in a light color of distress oxide and then just the tips of the wings and bodies re-stamped in a darker shade. (Yay for stamping platforms!)

Supplies and tools:
  • Dragonfly Dreams (Sweet n Sassy Stamps)
  • Sentimental Mash-Up (Sweet n Sassy Stamps)
  • Boho Vibes (The Paper Studio)
  • Crochet Dies (Sizzix - Tim Holtz)
  • Circle Nestabitlites (Spellbinders)
  • Large Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
  • Tim Holtz Stamping Platform
  • Mini Pearls
  • These colors of Distress Oxide (Ranger)
    • Black Soot
    • Broken China
    • Salty Ocean
    • Worn Lipstick
    • Picked Raspberry

For my next card I embossed all the images from Birthday Borders diagonally across my mixed media paper. I water colored the borders and added some black paint splatters. Since I really liked all the fun colors and didn't want to cover them up, I embossed my sentiment on vellum and added it to the side as a tag.
