Under the Sea

It's time for our Wednesday challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we have an inspiration board for you. This challenge is a fun cross between a photo challenge and a color challenge. You can choose to be inspired by the colors, the photograph, or both! I was inspired by the sea urchins to create this "under the sea" tag.

Supplies and Tools:
  • Repeat Impressions Stamps
  • Canson Watercolor Paper
  • Canson Mix Media Paper
  • Real Brush Pens (Arteza)
  • Sandpaper
  • Shells CutUps Dies (The Cat's Pajamas)
  • Garden Greens Dies (Sizzix -Tim Holtz)
  • Ornate Ovals Dies (Divinity Designs)
  • Crinkle Ribbon
  • These colors of Distress Oxide (Ranger)
    • Salty Ocean
    • Lucky Clover
Purchase the Repeat Impression stamps I've used today (or something else that catches your eye) and enjoy a 10% discount using code: rr10ea

Check out what my fellow design team members created for this week's challenge

Beautiful tag showing some of the pretty sea life. I like the watercolor wash background and then the beautiful colored sea life. Love the Kringle yellow ribbon. The finishing touch.

Wonderful take on the challenge - this one was a hard one for me - changed my mind and made another - still wasn't happy with it. Love yours!

This is just lovely Esther-a real feel of the sea! Gorgeous background and love how you layered up each section right from the sand-super texture. And wonderful colouring of the seahorse so it blend in and finally a lovely finishing touch with the ribbon. Thanks for joining Time Out x
