Praying For You

Today's card features the NEW Sunflower dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts again. This time I went with a shabby chic feel using kraft card stock, crochet lace, and twine.

To create my card I embossed the background with an elegant embossing folder and inked over it in white ink to soften the background and make the embossing stand out a little.

The flowers and leaves were cut from watercolor paper and inked up with various shades of distress oxides listed below.

(Posting in support of Ukraine and our missionary friend in a bordering country taking in refugees. #cardsforukraine)

Lovely and touching card, beautiful effect from the lace and the inked embossing (I thought it was embossing paste until I read the details!) Thank you for sharing with us at the Alphabet Challenge.

Gorgeous, I love the coloring on the petals, and lovely centers too! The touch of lace and white on the embossing is such a pretty touch with the jute wrapping around too!

What a beautiful 3D creation, and the motif of sunflowers is such a perfect centerpiece. I like the soft colours you used, and the shabby chic style turned out really well with the lace and twine you added. The kraft background with the swirls is amazing, and it's my secret favourite of your project. Overall, you've done a beautiful uplifting gift, and I'm sure it will be well received in those weird times. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.

Hugs, Veronika
