Mixed media cards are my absolute favorite to create especially when they include all things girly! This card was inspired by a recent creation from my friend Autumn using the Singing Praises stamp set.
I used the reverse side a piece of canvas paper for the top of my card. I distressed it with some vintage photo ink and embossed it with the canvas embossing folder from Tim Holtz. The bottom stripes were stamped in saltwater taffy and the edges inked with vintage photo. The feathers were cut from an old book page, and I added some color with my Arteza Real Brush Pens. The bird and flowers were stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza pens.

So very pretty! I like the text on the feathers. Thanks for playing with us at Time Out Challenges!
Oh my such a beauty, love the background you created, looks fantastic. Love the texture. Your bird is so lovely as are your flowers, I so like the feathers done from the book page that is a neat idea, like it topped off with the lace too!
This is stunning, Esther. Thanks for sharing it with us at Word Art Wednesday. You always inspire me SO much.
