It's time for another Sweet n Sassy Instagram Hop, and I'm sharing two winter themed cards. My first one features the NEW coordintating dies for Winter Birds.
To create my background I smooshed two colors of distress ink onto watercolor paper and embossed it with an elegant embossing folder. I went over the raised design with two shades of gilding polish to make it stand out and give it some shimmer. I also used the golden glow gilding polish on my die cut sentiment.
Supplies and Tools:

I embossed the white background with a knit embossing folder to add a little texture. Next, I used two shades of blue ink to create an ink smooshed background on watercolor paper. I used white gesso to added the stenciled snowflakes over top before die cutting the "let it snow" sentiment. I cut my panel at an angle and added created a snowflake border using the Sparkle Snowflake dies.

Your birdie card is so lovely, I like the gold touches over the background, such pretty coloring and like the seam binding with it.
On your second card I like the sentiment on an angle with the pretty snowflakes!
