I'm featuring (and giving away) a trio of sympathy stamp sets:
Deepest Sympathy, Sympathy Sentiments 1, and Sympathy Sentiments 2
I've really enjoyed doing white on white cards this year, so I decided to make a trio of cards all in that same design.
For my first card I went with roses as the theme. I die cut the background using the Tim Hotlz mixed media dies and added the beautiful summer roses (colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens) in pinks over top.
Supplies and tools for card #1:
- Sympathy Sentiments Set 2
- Floral Cluster Summer Roses
- Floral Cluster & Sprigs
- Mixed Media #5 Dies
- Circle Nestabilities
- Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
- Foam Mounting Tape
- Arteza Real Brush Pens
- White Acrylic Paint
My second card features those gorgeous brushstroke florals cut from watercolor paper and painted with watercolor paints. I embossed the bottom section of the flowers before adding the accent pieces and splattering with white paint.
Supplies and Tools for card #2
- Sympathy Sentiments 1
- Brushstroke Flowers 1
- Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
- Watercolor Paint
- White Acrylic Paint
- Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame (Spellbinders)
- Organic Linen 3D Embossing Folder (Altenew)
My final card features a stenciled design in the background that I carefully spot stamped with text from the Psalm 23 stamp in the Deepest Sympathy set before adding a few black spatters. I die cut my flowers from watercolor paper and painted them with watercolor paints. A burlap string bow finished off the floral cluster.
Supplies and Tools for card #3
- Deepest Sympathy
- Wildflower Stems #1
- Gothic Stencil
- Burlap String
- Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
- Watercolor Paints
- White and Black Acrylic Paint
- These colors of Distress Oxide (Ranger)
- Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint

Each of your cards is truly lovely, but I keep going back to the 3rd one. Love the light verse in background, & the flowers are so pretty. What a beautiful look, & good to have these cards on hand for when they are needed. Beautiful, Esther!
Difficult card to make but all beautifully created, lovely to see you at our Allsorts 12th Birthday celebrations, thanks so much for joining in.

Sympathy cards are always so hard for me. You have provided some wonderful inspiration.
Your cards are gorgeous. The colors on each are beautiful.
Beautiful cards!
These cards are so beautiful! I'm a fan of white on white cards too!
Three lovely cards. Fabulous coloring of the roses, and the watercolored florals are so bright and eye catching. The white on white backgrounds are the perfect backdrop for your floral designs.
The backgrounds are beautiful. I also love your choice of colors.
Gorgeous amazing cards with beautiful colors. Details and texture ❤
Beautiful cards, love all the flowers
Love your amazing cards. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration.
The colors stand out nicely with the simple white background
Really beautiful set of cards!
Gorgeous set of cards! I love the textures and designs, and the flowers are all just beautiful! Lovely sentiments too!
Love your cards. They really hit home with me as I lost my only child, my son, on November 21, 2020, and my husband on March 20, 2021. The many cards I received really helped me know how many people were praying for me during the worst times of my life.
Your cards are beautiful and I love the texture in your cards. Sympathy cards are often hard to make for me.
Beautiful cards! Love the font on the stamps.
Great cards with lovely sentiments.
These are gorgeous!! This is one thing I definitely don’t have enough of, and unfortunately seem to need.
Each of your cards is more beautiful than the next!!! Love them all!
Love these cards. Its always good to have a few sympathy cards around. I actually have the wildflower dies and would love to use that 3rd card to inspire some new cards <3
I love sentiments! These are great.
Your cards are just beautiful - very nice sympathy cards :-)
These are just gorgeous sympathy cards and I don't know about you, but I never seem to have one on hand when I need it!!! Although I read the instructions several times, I could not really follow what you did. The third card is my favorite.
Unfortunately, just like we are always in need of birthday cards and stamps, sympathy cards and stamps are also necessary in our aresenal of stamp supplies. Your cards fit the bill beautifully. Thank You for sharing
Gorgeous cards- thanks for sharing. I would never think to use white on white but will definitely try it now.
Such a lovely set of cards!! Lots of wonderful texture and beautiful dies used for your amazing cards!! Beautiful sentiments, too!!
Wow! Simply beautiful all three cards. Love the watercolor wildflowers and the background as well as the brushstroke florals.
What a beautiful set of cards. If only I had as much talent as you.
This stamp set sure would be nice to win;' as I usually buy my sympathy cards instead of making

Sympathy cards are hard to do but you hit it out of the part with these 3 cards. - Gorgeous details and sentiments.
All Gorgeous!
Beautiful cards! I love all the colors.
Oh my goodness, these cards are stunning. I have never made a sympathy card, but it seems a good idea, to "pre-make" some and have them on hand as I find I need them more, the older I get :(
These are really beautiful, thank you so much for the inspiration!
Thanks for the opportunity to win the stamps in this giveaway and congrats on the new storefront! God Bless :)
What a gorgeous trio of cards, Esther! I love each one and really love the great texture you've achieved in different ways. Stunning cards! Congrats on the new storefront! I'm so excited! Hugs!
These cards are so pretty. The stamp sets are great. Thanks for the chance to win.
Esther, your cards are jaw dropping gorgeous and the detail is just amazing - these are all so enchanting! It's like taking a walk through the English garden countrsides on paper! These are always so hard to make but I am sure the recipients will find peace and comfort in them - thanks for sharing!
Your cards are my favorites on the hop, Esther. You always amaze and inspire me. Great use of these pretty stamps, dies, etc. I will be getting that one floral set you used for sure. Thanks for the inspiration. You know I LOVE Stamp Simply.
Just beautiful. I almost feel bad saying this, but I really enjoy making sympathy cards, because I really pour my soul out to the recipient. I don't like the reason to send them, but they are necessary at times. TFS
Adding textures is hard for me. Yet you have shown how easy it can be. Love the stamps.

I like the different backgrounds for this beautiful trio of sympathy cards.
They are absolutely gorgeous, the flowers area beautiful on everyone of them and the sentiments are lovely with their pretty swirls in the fonts! Love how you did the splattering!
All the cards are really beautiful! I really love the artsy look of the second and third cards.
Lovely & special cards!!
I like how you showed us multiple different techniques on these cards. Well done!
